Ayesha's birthday cake

So I had lots of fun making Ayesha's birthday cake for her bollywood inspired birthday party.
One of the activities at her party was decorating cupcakes which I organised- the kids had a fabulous time piping buttercream and decorating their cakes with fabulous flowers and butterflies :)

Overall a great party!

Potential TV Show!

So I was called by a good friend of mine, who got me into cake decorating initially, asking me if I wanted to be part of a new TV programme on channel 4 on baking!

So sooo excited- there is an initial pre-meeting this Thursday to discuss how it is all going to work.

Watch this space- I will keep you updated!

Cupcake Classes a BIG HIT!

Just loving the pinks in the cupcake above :)

So I have run a few cupcake classes at the girls school in Little Chalfont- full classes- whcih were great!
Pictures of my classes can be found at http://www.cakemasters.co.uk/ on the gallery pages.

Mosque cupcake

Mosque cupcake, as Ramadan comes to an end :)

So Eid is coming up, and I have always wanted to make some Eid inspired cupcakes.  The difficulty is finding a symbol to represent Eid or Even Islam- other than a moon and stars- it is quite difficult.
So google it was- various pictures of mosques came up, so I thought I would give it a go at making a sugarpaste mosque! It looks rather Taj- Mahal- ish but I am happy with the end result :)

Eid style cupcakes :)

A New Beginning

So I have decided to start my own blog, so that I can share my interests in cake decorating with the world.
I just love decorating cakes and have recently started to run some small cake decorating workshops.

I hope to be able to share my creations with you here on my blog.

Enjoy!
