Birthday Cake Competition

So we have decided to run a different type of competition...something that will challenge you all!

Last year we ran a design-me-a-birthday-cake competition, and Molly Robbins from Molly's Creative Cakes  submitted the winning design.

This year, we want you to make a cake inspired by this design using real cake or a dummy cakes.  

Closing date is 6th October 2012

The winner will win £100 and will be featured in our next magazine.

Cake Play starter kit

~ Take several photos of the cake to be emailed to bookings@cakemasters.co.uk
   *Picture of the whole cake
   *Pictures of the detail
~ Everything should be edible other than supports
~ Your cake needs to be inspired by the design above

~ One entry per person

~ Cakes must be available for potential inspection.

Cake Masters - Jubilee Cake Competition

We are running the "Cake Masters - Jubilee Inspired Cake Competition"

There will be two categories- "Business Bakers"

This category is for anyone who sells cakes, this can be someone with a shop or someone who bakes from home.  If you have a facebook page and promote your cakes to sell then you will also fall into this category.

The second category is "Baking for Fun"

This category is for people who do not sell cakes and bake for fun.

Prizes:

Will be a signed copy of Tracey Mann's new book on how to use modelling chocolate and transfers. We will even throw in some modelling chocolate too!

How to enter:

Send us pictures of your jubilee inspired cakes to bookings@cakemasters.co.uk with your name, business name and the category you are entering.

All entires will be posted on our Pinterest Competition Business Board and Pinterest Competition Bake for fun so everything is in one place!

We thought that by uploading the albums in small chunks over the week it would allow you to appreciate some of the hard work gone into making each cake as well as the incredible level of detail on some of the cakes.
