CAKE INTERNATIONAL COMES TO MANCHESTER

CAKE INTERNATIONAL EXPANDS TO EVENTCITY, MANCHESTER
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th March, 2013

Leading event organiser ICHF Events is expanding its highly successful Cake International show to EventCity, Manchester for the first time from the 8th – 10th March 2013.

The show is renowned by industry experts across the globe for offering the very best from the cake decorating and baking world.  Features include the latest cutting edge products from a huge variety of exhibitors, Competition Classes for all ages and abilities and Demonstration Theatres with a wide selection of classes and workshops.

Cake International recently expanded in April 2012 to the ExCeL, London where over 14,000 cake fans flocked to enjoy the show, the first of its kind in the region.   The show has also taken place at the NEC, Birmingham for over a decade, growing substantially year-on-year.  Cake International – The Sugarcraft & Cake Decoration Show will take place from the 9-11 November at the NEC and is bigger than ever before with over 100 exhibitors taking part and visitors expected from across the globe including South America, Asia, Australia and the USA.

Show organiser Simon Burns from ICHF Events said, “We have had fantastic success with Cake International over the last few years.  Visitor numbers at the NEC show have increased by 72% over the last two years and the first ExCeL show was better than we could have ever imagined.  There is clearly such a demand for cake decorating and baking shows thanks to the revival of home baking and we are thrilled to be able to bring this show to Manchester for the first time.”

ICHF Events are also launching two new shows this autumn – Prima Homemade – The Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts Show at Glow, Bluewater from the 6-9 September 2012; and Woman’s Weekly Live!  The Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts Show which is also taking place at EventCity, Manchester from the 13-15 September 2012.
